CONFESSION: I wish there had a cutscene showing Carver & Hawke fleeing Ostagar (Or one with Carver) and rushing to their home to get Bethany & Leandra. It would have made the beginning of the gamefar more interesting

Confession: I love the little easter egg of the Hawke family knowing Leliana. Carver having a crush on her, Bethany knowing her by name as someone who told great stories and Hawke simply knowing her as “the red headed Chantry sister”. Its small and doesn’t matter much to the overall story, but I love those little tie- ins. Same thing when Flemeth mentions Morrigan and Hawke asks if that someone she should know.

CONFESSION: Every play through I kill off Hawke’s brother/ sister in the deep roads. I like the idea of Hawke being the last of her family.

Confession: I love playing as a mage but I can’t stand Carver. He reminds me too much of my own younger brother who’s a jerk like him. But at the same time I almost cry seeing him die because I choose a different class. It’s a lose/lose situation for me.

CONFESSION: I always play a mage in every game.but in DA 2 I could only play a mage the one time. Seeing Hawke’s sister die damn near killed me. Then I watched his bro die too. I replayed all of the Deep Roads just so he would have some family.

CONFESSION: I care so deeply for Bethany/Carver even for their ups and downs. I love them both as if they were my own brother/sister.

CONFESSION: I can’t romance Merrill or Sebastian because I ship Carver/Merrill and Sebastian/Bethany so hard!

CONFESSION: I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t connect to Bethany the way I can to Carver. When I play Carver really is my baby brother. He makes me want to strangle him, protect him, care for him, I want him to do well and I feel proud of his achievments… but I just can’t give a damn about Bethany.

CONFESSION: I always make Carver a Grey Warden. I imagine that he meets the Hero of Ferelden and they become besties.
